Whine Bottler

Story Sent in by Michelle:

Back when I was more open to meeting people online, Stephen messaged me over a dating site. When we met for our date, I noticed he wore a curious charm around his neck: a wine bottle cork on a leather strap necklace.

I asked him, "What's the meaning behind that?"

He shrugged and said, "No meaning. It's just here in case you can't shut up."

I'd never heard something so rude in all my life. I told him, "Have a good night," and left him standing there.

He called after me, "What!? Are you kidding?"

"Not the best way to make a first impression!" I yelled over my shoulder as I continued on. I mean, really?

  3. Part of me is happy she left at the right time but part of me wishes she had stayed way longer because there would have been so much more assholery for us to laugh at here.
