At Least He Was a Good Communicator

Story Sent in by Michele:

I was in a park, walking with Tony on our first date when we started talking about attributes we admired about the opposite gender. He said he liked smart, attractive girls with an independent streak. I told him I liked respectful guys who were good communicators.

"Oh," I added, "And it doesn't hurt if they're strong."

"Strong?"

I said, "Yeah. I like watching a strong man carry something heavy. Just one of my things."

He didn't say anything, but he grabbed me, picked me up, and flipped me on my back onto the grass! And I was in a skirt!

"Oof," he said, "You weren't heavy."

"Why would you do that?!" I screamed at him, standing and straightening myself out, "That hurt!"

"You were lighter than I thought! Not my fault!"

"So you just go ahead and assault me?"

He gave me a stare then said, "No, I won't deal with this," and he tore away, across the park. I wanted to shout something after him, but words just failed me.

  1. It's good to see this guy get back into the dating world after the divorce.
