Chip to Be a Square

Story Sent in by Neoma:

When I was out with Clarence (who I met online), we went to a Chinese restaurant. We talked about this and that but when our meals came he pulled out a baggie of what looked like chocolate chips and sprinkled them into his egg drop soup and onto his fried chicken.

"Chocolate chips?" I asked him.

He explained, "Things taste better with chocolate. Want one?"

"No thanks."

He then ate all of the chocolate chips from his food but left most of the non-chocolate food there. "Everything's just better with chocolate," he said again, as if trying to convince me.

After dinner was over, he paid for the meal and said, "There's a chocolate yard nearby. Want to go?"

"What's a chocolate yard?" I imagined a garden like in Willy Wonka. Only I couldn't think of a local place that came close to resembling that.

"I'll show you. It's like heaven. And then we will make love."

I laughed and said, "I think I'm going to go home. But thanks for the offer!"

So I never saw this "chocolate yard." But since I also never saw Clarence again, I count myself lucky.

  1. Good call OP. You don't want to go to the chocolate yard.

Also, JMG, this will be in my head for the rest of the day. Thanks for that. Wait, selective mental editing may help me out here......Ahhh, there we go......

  3. I'll ask it once and I'll ask it again: has this *ever* worked on a woman?

  5. Aw, OP, where's your sense of adventure? You really couldn't past that "make love" comment long enough to go see this chocolate yard and come back to tell us the story? You really had to end things there and leave us all hanging? Bad form, OP, bad form.
