A Boy's Best Friend Is His Mother

Story Sent in by Mabel:

I wore a predominately dark fuchsia blouse when I went out to meet Antonio for drinks. Less than a minute after we sat down together and before we ordered anything, he said, "My mom wears a lot of fuchsia. Are you my mom?"

I said, "I don't think so."

He asked, "Is it all right if I call you 'Mom'?"

I laughed. "No."

He leaned in closer. "Just for tonight?"

"No."

"Please? Will you be my mom just for tonight? No sex or anything."

"Uh... very, very no."

"Okay," he said, then stood up, patted my shoulder twice, and left without another word.

  2. A man's relationship with his mother can be a good indicator of how he respects women. But some guys, like this guy, are a little too close

  3. Sounds like he was going to broach the subject no matter what color her blouse was.
