Eddie took me to a sandwich place on our first date. He ordered a foot-long sub. We sat down and he asked me, "Ready to be amazed?" and then he stuffed nearly the entire sub into his mouth (believe me - it was quite a battle), chewed it for a few drooly minutes, and then swallowed it bit by bit. When he was done he said, "Ta-da!"
I guess by "amazed" he meant "disgusted." We didn't go out again.
Eddie overheard a friend telling how his girlfriend can swallow twelve inches in one go, and how impressive it was.

No one can hold a candle to Shaggy or Homer Simpson when it comes to the culinary art of engulf and conquer.And now OP can't look at a sandwich without having flashbacks.Just be glad Eddie and Op didn't go to a bbq place to eat ribs...{shudders}
