A Car That's Now Also a Punch Bowl

Story Sent in by Marie:

During a conversational lull at dinner, Burke asked me if I liked boxer briefs. To be honest I had never dated a guy, to my knowledge, who had worn them. I told him that I liked them fine. He said, "I'm not wearing them, if that's what you're asking."

"I'm not."

He seemed genuinely insulted by that and scowled at me for most of the rest of dinner. Afterward we took a short walk and he asked me if I wanted to see him dance.

Without waiting for a response, he scrambled atop a nearby parked car and did a quick tap dance all the way on top of it.

"Wow," I said, "Impressive. I have to go now."

"You didn't like my dance?" he asked down at me.

"I've got to go," I said, and I left him there. As I left, I heard him dancing away (stomping might've been more like it) on top of that poor stranger's car.

  1. But did he do jazz hands and spirit fingers?

  2. Meh... boring story. Must have been a slow dating-story-weekend if this one was the one that got published.

Summary: We were on a date, somewhere in conversation the topic of underwear came up, at the end he did a little dance to try to impress me. I may have embellished the part about him dancing on top of the car.

Not the first date we've seen try to dance to impress
