Two Beers and a Little Lady

Story Sent in by David:

Elizabeth had an online profile that marked her as single, and we spoke for a week before meeting in person. But when we did (at a bar in a bowling alley) she was there first, waiting for me with a guy who she introduced as her boyfriend, Aaron.

"Boyfriend?" I asked, "I thought you were single."

She turned to Aaron and said, "Ha! See?" and hurried out.

Without even a glance at me, Aaron followed behind her, a distraught look on his face.

Of course, I was left with the tab for their two unfinished beers. Luckily, after explaining the situation to the waitstaff, they let me settle the tab for half price and I returned home. Bizarre.

  1. See, this never would have happened if you had met her in an airport wine bar. Have a little class OP!

I know exactly how that goes. One time I was at a bar and this stranger sitting next to me walked away without paying for his drinks, so of course I had to pay for them, because the bartender told me to and because I was a complete pussy. But being such a pushover and doormat made me realize that IT WAS ONLY A DREAM, because nobody could be that much of a pansy. And then I woke up.

So tell me, OP - why are you posting about your dreams here? This is a website for REAL dates.
