Nerve and Protect

Story Sent in by B.:

Joanne showed up on our date with another guy. She introduced him as Nick and said that he was her ex from a few years ago. She said that they were friends and asked me if I had a problem with her still being friends with him.

I didn't but I wondered why she had brought him along. She said, "For protection."

Nick then gave me a dirty look, like some punk.

We went out to lunch and all paid for ourselves to eat. I barely spoke to either of them and Nick was giving me nasty looks the whole time. I took off right afterward.

  2. I don't blame you for not talking to either of them OP. If I had Nick giving me dirty looks, I'd be ready to get the hell out of there myself.

Eh, on the good side, at least they paid for their own food!

  5. I think if Nick were really a punk, he would still be "boyfriend" not "Ex"

  6. She'll always be single because she's sending men running for the hills. Now the question is... Joanne... is this self-sabotage or is she truly this ignorant? Hopefully the first one because the ladder would mean she's oblivious to her repellent.
