Filled with Heady Goodness

Story Sent in by Cindy:

David wore a stupid smirk from the moment I met him right up until about halfway through our first date lunch. Don't misunderstand: the conversation was good enough. But he acted like a five-year-old who had something he really, really wanted to say. Only he was waiting for me to clue into the fact that he wanted to be asked about it.

Finally I capitulated. "You're obviously excited about something. What's up?"

He leaned in really close over the table and said, "I can switch heads."

He looked at me as if he was expecting that statement to impress my pants off. But it actually didn't. He then said, "I can't show you now, but I can switch my head with other people's heads so I can wear their heads like my head."

He leaned back into his seat and nodded, as if he had done such a thing quite often and knew a lot about it.

"That's great," I said, which was the only thing I could think of to say.

The rest of lunch was surprisingly normal after that. That was, however, my first and last time dating someone I met online.
